Altar Guild
There is an altar guild schedule posted in the vestry (the little room where the vestments and other things are kept). Most of the information is also available here on the web site. The schedule shows when the seasons change, what the parament colors should be, when communion preparation is needed, etc.
Visitor FAQ
Here's a place where we can gather and sift through questions and answers that might be helpful to visitors. We'll take them and print them on a little sheet that can be handed out by our ushers, along with a visitor card to get their addresses, etc.
Constitution Revision
Pastor Hahnke began a revision of Bethany's constitution, which was advanced through the vacancy through the efforts of Tom Griswold with the help of Linda, as well as Terry and Bette Nelson. Since Pastor Jacobsen arrived at Bethany, the elders have discussed the revised constitution several times, making further revisions. We sent it to the synod for comment, and the revised constitution was approved at the 2008 ELS convention. You may download it in Open Document Format.
